Spring Cleaning vs. Amanda, Round 2

With a mere six days until our dear friends visit on their big big cross-country move, I am kicking the Spring Cleaning into high gear.

On the agenda for tonight/tomorrow:
Re-tidy the Cleaned Rooms
Bathroom
Bedroom

Bob and I will be camping out in the basement while they're here so this is my first chance to set up our bedroom for company. I have a zero-dollar budget to fix it up and am excited to brainstorm quick improvements. The deal I made with myself, however, is that I don't get to do anything fun until all the cleaning is finished. (Then, when my hair-brained ideas take too long and they're pulling into the driveway, at least it will all be clean...)

I'm eager to hear any ideas you might have for fixing up the bedroom for cheap. There's too much furniture in there right now so if nothing else I'll be re-evaluating how to make the best use of the (tiny) space.


There's nothing like company to kick the cleaning and decorating into gear!
